One day, while wandering through Shoppers Drug Mart in downtown Calgary, I unexpectedly bought a pink bunny—perhaps as a gift for my niece, something small yet meaningful.
The more I looked at it, the more I was drawn to its charm. Inspired, I decided to include it in a still life painting.
This piece brings together simple yet meaningful elements—a kitchen kettle, fresh apples, and an unexpected bunny that somehow belongs. It’s a blend of reality and imagination, of planning and spontaneity.
